Steven ‘Steve’ Michael Greulach is the son of Ned Durbin Greulach and Barbara Jean Hayes. Steve was born on 13 Nov 1945 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He died on 23 Apr 2024, at the age of 78. He is buried in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Steve married Jessica Louise Webster the daughter of Robert Paul Webster and Beatrice Hawthorne on 2 Sep 1978 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana. They divorced in Fort Wayne, Indiana before 1985. Jessica was born on 8 Feb 1947 in Allen County Indiana. She died 29 Jan 2008 in Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana, at age 60.

Steve graduated from Huntertown High School in 1963.

Steve served in the Navy

October 12, 1965 was the date that Steve enlisted in the Naval Reserves in Fort Wayne, Indiana. A little over a year later, November 15, 1966, Steve was ordered to Active Duty for a period of 24 months of active duty. On December 13, 1966, he was sent to the Naval Station located in Norfork, Virginia. Steve was assigned to the USS Wright on March 16, 1967. At the end of his period of Active Duty, October 7, 1968, Steve was transfered to the Naval Reserve Manpower Center in Bainbridge, Maryland. On June 9, 1971, Steve was discharged from the Navy with an Honorable Discharge and was honored with an Honorable Discharge button. He received the National Defense Service Medal and United Nations Service Medals during his tour of duty.

Steve was a Vietnam War Veteran. He was very grateful to have gone on the Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. in 2023 with his sister Diane and fellow veterans. After his tour of duty with the Navy, Steve was a Machinist/Quality Control operator for Zollner Corp. for 34 years and he retired in 2007.

The following were siblings to Steve: Alan (Ruth) Marvel, Richard ‘Rick’ Boschet, Kerry Boschet, Kathi (Art) Derrow, Gary (Nancy) Greulach, David (Sharon) Greulach, Mary (Bob) O’Connor, Susan (James) Zimmerman, Diane (Douglas) Nusbaum. Steve was fortunate to have had a loving mother, Barbara Jean Marvel and loving step-mother, Glendora Greulach in his life.
