MARY R. SPIELMAN, 88, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Berne, Ind., passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016. Born Nov. 8, 1927, in Beebe, Ariz., she was a daughter of the late George and Edith (Cummings) Steininger. She worked as a homemaker raising her family. Surviving family includes her sons, Kim (Susan), Kenton, and Curtis (Stephanie) Spielman; 10 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was also preceded in passing by her husband, George H. Spielman; one sister; and one brother.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse.
